Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 21, 2026

1. Introduction

Calenday ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the Calenday app and related services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your Google account profile (name, email, profile picture), activity logs, project names, notes, to-dos, and participants. We also collect technical information like browser type and usage data to operate and improve the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; to authenticate you; to organize your activities and projects; to sync your Google Calendar appointments (with your consent); and to communicate with you about the Service.

4. Google Calendar Integration

If you choose to connect Google Calendar, we request read-only access to your calendar events so we can display your appointments in Calenday and let you log outcomes or link them to projects. We do not create, edit, or delete events in your calendar. We store a copy of the event details you sync, but we do not store your Google password or full Google credentials.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as cloud hosting and authentication services), and we may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your data or your account at any time by contacting us. Some data may remain in backups for a limited period after deletion.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information. To exercise these rights, please contact us through the app or support address.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the one in which you reside. We take appropriate safeguards to protect your data during such transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.

11. Contact

If you have questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact the Calenday team through the app or at the support address listed on the website.
